Drawing Easter eggs to increase the number of parent-child activities
I was so excited when I found easter garden decorations in an online craft store, I knew exactly what I wanted to do ...... paint them! The kids were also very interested in the Easter eggs and were very excited about them. They loved drawing on the wood.
This is a very open art activity and you can also buy wooden easter egg if you don't want to use regular hard boiled eggs. After that you can start letting the children have their own free play
Step 1: Give each child a basket of eggs and set up the table. Mix the paints (I add some water to each color to make it more diluted). Use some paper towels or paper plates to dry the eggs.
Step 2: Let the children paint as many eggs as they like.
Step 3: When they have painted all the eggs, get out some decorations like glitter, silk fabric, etc. Some kids don't want to use anything and some kids cover their whole eggs. Everything was fine and whatever they wanted to do was great.
I love these easter decor so much, I want to keep them all! They were so easy to set up and make. A great craft for a group, or just for you and your kids to have a special art time together!
