One hose for many functions

 Because moving house presents so many problems, I see my own stress coming from two main things. One is that for some reason I think the amount of items we have and how big and awkward our furniture is would be an insurmountable problem for the movers who do this every day.


I look around the house and can't imagine it being completely packed. The sheer scale of this job scares me, and we can't go all out until we have an appointment because we need so much to get by. No matter the scale of the carnage at the new place, I'm relieved when we come in with all our stuff and we wave goodbye to the moving van.

Secondly, there is a lot of housework. By late afternoon, after clearing some stuff out of the kitchen and packing or tidying up, I was a little tired and a little emotional. I think if any of you have dealt with the 'under the sink' cupboards, you too may have found that to be the last straw.

Finally we decided to buy a hose. No, really, it makes perfect sense. It's January and we're moving house in a couple of weeks, so for understandable reasons, this is obviously at the top of our shopping list.

I want to get our house in tip-top shape for its new occupants, we decided to jet clean the backyard. Personally, I thought the dark green flag complemented the overall aesthetic of the back of the house, but no, jet cleaning was about to happen.
After trying it out, I think this garden hose is good value for money as it is a type 10 water nozzle that allows you to choose the nozzle as needed and the thumb slide control eases the burden on your hands and can help with the vast majority of the task load.
